Freedom Friday meetups were conceived by Kingstonian PPC enthusiasts in early 2019. In the spring of 2020, we got word that a snap federal election would be called in the fall.
The Executive for the Kingston Regional PPC Association was acclaimed in February 2020. De-registering of the previous EDAs and the registering of the Regional Association was completed in July, 2020. A call for candidates and campaign teams were formed between February and July of 2020. We re-started our Freedom Friday events in June of 2020. PJ Murphy’s first and then Spearheads. The numbers grew to the point that we needed a larger venue. We starting having the events at the Legion on Montreal on the balcony (mask free). Throughout the run up to the snap election – August 15th to September 20th – the number of supporters that came to the Legion for the event swelled to over one hundred. By then, the three candidates for the Association’s three EDA’s had been acclaimed. During the events, the CEO and candidates gave speeches before opening the floor to PPC supporters.
On September 1st, the Doug Ford announced his government’s Reopening Ontario Act, Regulation 364/20 – “vaccine” passport – that was to be implemented on September 20th. Kingston’s media outlets began their hard persecution of local businesses against the Ford government’s unlawful vaccine certification policy on September 14th. Although CTV and Global are just as dishonest as the Kingstonist, in this post I will focus on the articles by the Kingstonist.
According to the Bursey, “All businesses and organizations are required to follow the rules as outlined by the province in the Reopening Ontario Act, Regulation 364/20. KFL&A Public Health investigates complaints submitted by community members and will work with owners or operators to gain compliance,” KFL&A Public Health told Kingstonist in an email. “Consistent with current practices under the Reopening Ontario Act, enforcement will be conducted by by-law officers as per provincial direction. Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development inspectors will begin with education and warnings visits,” the health agency continued. “We anticipate the province will release information related to fines for non-compliance.”
The Legion caved to the (your-papers-please) Regulation 364/20. J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s took the boldest stance by posting his opposition to Reopening Ontario Act, Regulation 364/20 on the sign above his restaurant, which is located in a high traffic area in the West End. J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s business traffic swelled after the owner, Kelly Hale, made his announcement. Kelly Hale kindly agreed to host our Freedom Friday events. Kelly’s policy aligns itself to PPC’s: No one has the right to ask a Canadian about his/her medical history or discriminate against him/her based on their medical history. As well, most of the staff at J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s were ex-nurses from the Kingston General Hospital. These nurses either refused to administer the jab or take it themselves.
PPC supporters started going to J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s the night of the federal election (September 20th), and PPC Freedom Friday events were held at J.A.K.K. starting on September 24th. The place was absolutely packed on the 24th. Really great people showed up. Speeches were given by the PPC candidate for Kingston – Shelley Sayle-Udall- , yours truly, and others. Contacts were made. Tools were provided by legal experts on how to fight back against the governments’ unlawful policies. Nobody there believed the government’s COVID narrative. We were united. At this time J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s was still serving alcohol and had just procured a delicious IPA on tap.
On Sept 30th, another one of the Kingstonist’s KFL&A’s lap-dog reporters, Torri Stafford, joyfully reported on J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s liquor license suspension due to “complaints” received by KFL&A for non-compliance to Regulation 364/20. According to Stafford, several complaints regarding the establishment’s non-compliance with the ROA were received by the Kingston Public Health Unit. By-law officers visited the establishment on or about Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021 and made observations of non-compliance with the ROA. On Friday, Sept. 24, 2021, City of Kingston By-Law officials charged the licensee with violations of the ROA.
Stafford never once questions the legality of Ford’s mandates for businesses to discriminate against those that choose not to get the so-called vaccine, or why is it legal for KFL&A to legally enforce these discriminatory policies, especially without any evidence of an “outbreak” or emergency. She omits that the staff are mostly ex-nurses from KGH.
Despite the liquor license suspension, J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s business soared as patrons went for food. The Freedom Friday events were getting larger even though the election had passed. Informative speeches were given by legal experts, Shelley, and others. PPC supporters were committed to making J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s the PPC hangout; we were committed to Kelly Hale’s cause – and any other business against Regulation 364/20.
On October 27th, another one of the Kingstonist’s KFL&A’s lap-dog reporters, Cris Vilela, did another piece on the J.A.K.K, Tuesday’s saga. Like Stafford, he omits the fact that most of the employees at J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s were ex-KGH nurses opposed to “vaccine” mandates/passports.
Then, on Remembrance Day, November 11th, Stafford “reported” on J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s defiance of the superior court order. Stafford did not mention the free meal event for veterans to honour them on Rememberance Day. She also omitted that J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s was packed with veterans who greatly disapprove of Regulation 364/20. Speeches were delivered by veterans against the policy and the enforcement thereof, including denying unvaxxed vets access to the Legion.
On November 12th, another one of the Kingstonist’s KFL&A’s lap-dog reporters, Michelle Dory Forestell, “reported” on surging “case” numbers (with a completely unreliable test) with mention of J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s defiance of Regulation 364/20. KFL&A’s top medical officer, Piotr Oglaza, shamelessly promotes his useless tests and quackcines in the article.
Also on November 12th, Stafford, dispassionately reported on J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s losing its liquor license permanently. Stafford did not report the back-and-forth taking place between KFL&A’s lawyers against J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s as reported on Kelly Hale’s funding page.
This night, Kelly gave a remarkable speech on his stance on KFL&A-media persecution. The video recording of his speech has thousands of views with highly supportive comments.
Then, on November 13th, Cris Vilela was tipped by Kingston Police that were going to forcibly evict Kelly Hale from J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s at 5:00 am. In his article, Vilela shamelessly shills for the KFL&A-BigPharma complex. Like Stafford, Vilela omits much of behind-the-scenes lawfare commited by KFL&A’s lawyers against J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s. You can get Kelly’s video recording here, which also has thousand of views supportive comments.
On November 14th, a rally in support of J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s was held in downtown Kingston. The Amazing Polly did Kingstonians a huge favour by reporting the event.
Following the event, a group of us went and talked with Kingston Police at their headquarters in the parking lot. During the meeting the Kingston Police wore their masks and refused handshaking. They told us some of Ford’s government’s mandates they enforce (like the Reopening Ontario Act, Regulation 364/20), and some they simply refuse to enforce (like stopping someone without cause). The encounter as dispassionate as Kingstonist reporting.
On the November 19th, Kelly Hale went back to court with a large group of supporters. In the front of the court house some local police drove by sign waving supporters of J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s and told them that Kelly Hale has their support.
Kingstonist’s Michelle Dory Forestell reported on the injustice served by the Superior Court. Kelly Hale was ordered to pay KFL&A’s lawyer fees – over 20,000 CAD. No mention of lawfare committed by KFL&A’s lawyers against J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s was noted by the third Kingstonist reporter. She also omitted that all of the offenses would be appealed in a higher court of law sometime in January. She did make slight reference to the event on the November 14th.
As far as I can tell, the Kingston Police, Kingstonist (along with CTV, Global and local radio) and KFL&A and the Superior Court are working together to decimate small businesses in Kingston. The J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s saga shows that together they are willing to crush resistance by small businesses against unlawful, discriminatory policies. They do this by threat of fines, then actual fines, and then closing your business and making you pay huge sums for their lawyer fees after incomprehensible (unconstitutional) rulings. The media (like the Kingstonist) has strong government bias and omits important facts; they normalize human rights abuses. KFL&A blindly enforces the directives of the province’s chief medical officers, who are likely BigPharma compromised. The directives from the province are unlawful and often parrot those of the WHO. KFL&A does not consult local businesses (that pays their salaries) about the unlawful mandates that they appear to enjoy enforcing. During the J.A.K.K. Tuesdays saga, never once did any of the councilors, mayor, MPP, or MP of Kingston reach out to Kelly Hale in support. They hide from the public and refrain from opining anything contrary to KLF&A mandates during the time of COVID. It’s as though they don’t exist.
From my perspective, the J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s saga really represents political persecution. This persecution is enacted by personnel from KFL&A, local Kingston media outlets, the Kingston Police, and the courts. J.A.K.K. Tuesday’s was the go-to spot for supporters of the PPC. Most of us did not take the jab, and will never take the jab. Because there was no excess mortality anywhere in the world in 2020, many of us do not believe that we went through a pandemic in 2020 – i.e. KFL&A is lying to us and there never was an emergency. And it’s not that we are anti-vaxx like the Marxist media claims. We are for informed consent – Nuremberg Code -, and we do not consent. Now, we no longer have a place to meet up to openly discuss political issues. As long as the Ford government keeps rubber stamping unconstitutional mandates written by corporatist quacks we will be physically isolated from one another. I blame KFL&A, local Kingston media outlets, and the Kingston Police for enabling the unconstitutional mandates to go on in Kingston. It is pure madness.
Conclusions: Kingstonians needs to replace their MP, MPP, mayor, councilors, KFL&A Board of Health, police chief, and chief medical officer ASAP. Just about anyone with a laissez-faire attitude and a basic understanding of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms would do. They also need to call out their local media and KFL&A on their deceitfulness.
